While Toru Iwatani has long been absent from Pac-Man productions for many years now, one unutilized concept lingers within his mind: having Pac-Man sing. Albeit rarely, there are multiple instances in interviews where he publicly proposes the idea of a Pac-Man music game.

(Content warning: Drugs) Pac's Jungle Trip is a fangame made by Wiesi in 2004. After his car breaks down, Pac-Man searches in a nearby jungle for a way to fix it. The arcade action is mixed with adventure elements that see Pac-Man fulfill quests for the bizarre cast of characters he comes across.

This upbeat commercial for Pac-Man World's release in Japan goes all-in on the 20th birthday aspect. It notably uses clips from Namco press events featuring people celebrating by dancing and moving their hands like Pac-Man's mouth.

To promote the movie, One Piece Stampede, 500,000 theatergoers were granted access to a webgame named One Piece Pac-Man Stampede Ver. The game was active from August 23rd 2019 to November 22nd 2019, and featured 5 levels of play with 8 bonus "fruits" to grab. (Video capture by Natsuki Ninomiya)

In 2016, Kemco released Mega Run Meets Pac-Man for iOS and Android devices. Appropriately, the game is a successor to their 2012 title, Mega Run - this time featuring Pac-Man as the default playable character. (Video capture by PacFan12)

In early 2006, Namco Museum Battle Collection got a sequel exclusively in Japan named ナムコミュージアム Vol. 2 (Namco Museum Vol. 2) It features a special version of 2005's Pac-Man Arrangement that gives half of the game's levels a Namco-themed makeover and new music to accommodate.

An American TV advert for the 1998 Playstation title, Pitfall 3D: Beyond the Jungle, depicts Pac-Man as a crotchety old man while he watches gameplay in a barber shop with other envious classics. Ironically, Pac-Man World would release one year later. @playstationpark.bsky.social

Namco's 1993 Japan-only arcade game, Tinkle Pit, features a barrage of characters and elements from their previous games. If players obtain the "Pac-Attack" power-up, they will turn into Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man, and all the enemies will become blue ghosts for them to eat.

NEWS: Namco Legendary Mountains has been officially announced for Switch, Switch 2, and PC. This is a 3D chain puzzle game by BeXide with a voxel-style presentation taking after classic Namco games. It will be releasing sometime during the summer.
