Cycling through Winter Wonderland!

When temperatures reach tropical levels, Utrecht's popular swimming spots turn into large bicycle parking lots. Spontaneous, unorganized, and without bothering anyone. And the next morning, they are (almost) all gone again!

Cycling home at midnight. Definitely not the only one riding a bike at this hour.

In 2025, I cycled well over 6,000 km. My bike maintenance costs were around €400 (which is exceptionally high for me). So, converted, I cycled for a little more than 6 cents per kilometer. So much for this, according to some, elitist lifestyle 😉
