It's not complicated. This economy is rigged for the billionaires, and we're all suffering the consequences. If we're going to unrig the economy, we can start by passing a wealth tax and a cost-of-living exemption. We deserve to thrive, not just survive.

It's such an honor to have the endorsement of US Senator Bernie Sanders. We've lived in a rigged system for far too long. Whether it be Medicare for All, taxing the rich, free public college, and much more -- Bernie and I will fight to win actual results for working people.

We have an oligarchy in this country, and it's bringing us all down. It's long past time to make the billionaires pay their fair share. In Congress, I'd be proud to co-sponsor Rep. Khanna and Senator Sanders's bill to do just that.

Recently, someone asked me to share what grounds me amidst all the chaos. Painting and drawing have always been things that do that for me.

As I told Bobby Jones on Anchor Watch, I bore witness to a genocide in Gaza. When I returned to the US and tried to tell our elected officials, I realized most people in Congress weren't even willing to listen.

We aren't talking enough about the climate crisis - so I'm glad every time I'm asked how I'll address it in Congress: We need to pass a Green New Deal, win a just transition, and build resiliency in our communities. And yes, we need to make the polluters pay.
