Location: Maharashtra Date: May 24 At a Virat Hindu Sammelan, Kajal Aggarwal, a Hindu Jagran Manch member, urged Hindus to train their daughters in using weapons and referred to Muslims using slurs including “thulle mulle jihadiyo” and “kathmulle.”

Location: Fatehgarh, Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh Date: April 20 During Parshuram Janmotsav Shobha Yatra, far-right monk Madhuram Sharan Shiva, delivered a dangerous speech calling on Hindus to kill those with a “jihadi mentality” & “kathmullas,” invoking the example of Parashuram killing “rakshas.”

Location: Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra Date: April 12 At a Hindu Sammelan, Shankar Gaikar, Union Co-Minister and National Spokesperson of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, spread the conspiracy of “love jihad” and promised to stop it and cow slaughter with the help of 5,000 Bajrang Dal members.

Location: Kothapet, Hyderabad, Telangana Date: May 11 Cow vigilantes affiliated with Bajrang Dal intercepted a truck transporting cattle near Chaitanyapuri Metro Station and vandalised the vehicle, alleging that the animals were being smuggled ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.

Location: Dhule, Maharashtra Date: May 4 Cow vigilantes destroyed a car after accusing its occupants of transporting cows for slaughter.

Location: Mau, Uttar Pradesh Date: May 2 Hindu Beti Bachao Sangharsh Samiti organised a protest rally against “love jihad,” during which participants raised the slogan, “Be like Durga, be like Kali, but never be burqewali.”
