Mail ballots are the most accessible and secure ways to vote. And don’t just take my word for it: 98% of Colorado Republicans chose to vote with a mail ballot in our last election. MAGA Republicans want to take away your access to the ballot because they are afraid of you and your voice.

Trump is a highly unpopular president - consequently, he is growing more extreme. MAGA Republicans want to silence the American people and suppress the vote. They will not succeed. We will fight any attempt to suppress voting. Americans will be able to make their voices heard in November.

The Constitution is clear: states run elections, not Donald Trump. He does not have the authority to change how we vote.

Let me make this clear: in Colorado, no one is above the law. If federal agents break the law, we will not back down - and we will not look the other way. We believe in justice, accountability, and protecting our communities from abuses of power. That’s the fight. And we’re in it together.

Trump is a threat to election officials and our democracy. He tried to steal the 2020 election and is undermining the rule of law. We all must hold the line and fight back.

Donald Trump recently signed an unlawful executive order targeting mail ballots. His order would unlawfully insert the federal government into state-run elections by creating a Trump voter list. Mail ballots are secure. They work. And millions of Americans of all political affiliations use them.

We should be deeply skeptical of any system that builds a massive surveillance network. Colorado must lead with both safety and freedom in mind. We need leaders who will protect people - not just collect more of their data.

Trump is floating the idea of “nationalizing” elections and having the federal government take over voting. That’s a direct threat to the Constitution. States and local election officials run elections for a reason: to keep power decentralized and protect the people from government overreach.
