This afternoon, I made a statement to the Scottish Parliament outlining the Scottish Government’s position on protecting children from harm. I confirmed my intention to establish a statutory public inquiry to consider Scotland’s response to group-based child sexual abuse and exploitation.

🎉 Last week, Jenny Gilruth MSP launched Mid Fife and Glenrothes' first Dolly Parton Imagination Library with the Collydean Community Centre. 📚 This fantastic initiative will see local children in the Collydean area receive a free book each month up until their fifth birthday.

🗣️ Tonight on BBC Debate Night, highlighted the Scottish Government's commitment towards tackling child poverty in Scotland. 💛 Thanks to this SNP Scottish Government, the Scottish Child Payment currently supports the families of over 326,000 children, including 24,920 here in Fife.
