In 2025, due to scheduling quirks, G156 needed to stop for 16 mins at Zaozhuang Station and let three trains serving faster stopping patterns to pass. Meaning if you took train G156 you get non-stop Chinese HSR passing action, with 6 trains passing during those 16 mins.

Shanghai Metro Line 21 East Extension Wenju Road Station construction progress. Line 21 is a 48km long, 23 station, north south eastern suburban tangential metro line using 6 car Type A trains running up to 100kph. Stations will have overtaking loops for express services.

A someone got off their HSR train and spotted a pair of CR450 series resting at Chongqing North Station two days ago. Both trains have a design speed of 450kph and a rated service speed of 400kph.
