With modern technology, the elderly and disabled can do a lot to take care of their own day-to-day needs. Architecture also helps. Elderly people on upper floor balconies can watch grandchildren playing in protected courtyards of courtyard buildings. Some nurses assist or design clinical trials.

When the people speak, it's not our job to tell them they're wrong. Our job is to listen. We can advocate against it all we want, but once that ballot initiative passes, you've got to respect it. These guys don't respect it, and they don't respect us. Let's vote them out.
