It’s kinda hilarious that Craig T. Nelson and Samuel L. Jackson poke fun of this in the commentary of the Mr. Incredible and Pals short that was made for the DVD release of The Incredibles back in 2005.

That’s not what happened in the How It Should Have Ended Version.

As a Star Wars fan myself, the first two jokes in that scene are downright terrible and there have been much better jokes that parody Star Wars. Heck, the company that owns Lucasfilm poked fun of the franchise in one of their movies during the 90s, even if it wasn’t made at WDAS.
