New Jersey is READY for the World Cup! Assembly members Greenwald, Moen, Katz and Kane headed to Cooper River Park to celebrate the winners of the World Cup 2026 Community Initiative Grant Program. Thanks to this initiative, ALL New Jerseyans will get to experience the magic of the games!

During this week’s Assembly voting session, Assemblywoman Melinda Kane rose to recognize Jewish American Heritage Month, honoring the hundreds of thousands of Jewish New Jerseyans whose history, culture, and contributions have helped shape communities across our state for generations.

Members of the Assembly Telecommunications & Utilities Committee, led by Chair Asm. Wayne DeAngelo, recently visited the Linden Generating Station to see how it helps meet NJ's growing energy demands. Asm. Robert Karabinchak, Asw. Andrea Katz and Asm. Jerry Walker participated in the tour.

This legislation would require doctors and health care providers to screen patients for intimate partner violence annually — and connect victims with resources and referrals for further support when necessary

Yesterday, A3434, sponsored by Asw. Heather Simmons, advanced in committee. This bill — which would create the "NJ Dialysis Patient Support Person Accommodation Act" — would allow patients to have a dedicated support person during dialysis treatment, giving them comfort when they need it most.

The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) helps first-generation and income-eligible students access college with financial support, mentorship, & a community behind them. This year, nearly 2k EOF scholars from across NJ, the largest class in the program’s history, were honored at #Rutgers University.

Several Assembly members joined Gov. Sherrill today as she announced the pilot phase of a new online Permitting Dashboard, which will bring greater accessibility and transparency to NJ's permitting process. Increasing transparency in permitting is also something we are advancing through legislation.
