Cuando #Godzilla entra en escena, todo cambia. (Ésta es mi aparición favorita de G: parece que se estuviera echando la siesta allí y se levanta cabreado como cuando te interrumpen el sueño con una llamada de telemarketing)

Lo que no se olvida fácilmente son sus efectos especiales. Se nota que Eiji Tsuburaya seguía al mando porque las escenas de lucha y destrucción son más intensas y largas. Por primera vez, Godzilla se enfrenta a un nuevo kaiju: Anguirus o Anguilas, según el idioma.

Aún así no está libre de incidentes. En esta escena se había caído líquido inflamable encima del traje que hizo que éste ardiera accidentalmente.

Y también es el #Godzilla más patoso de toda la saga...

Otra curiosidad del rodaje es que esta especie de telaraña/hilo que sueltan las larvas de Mothra era un de un material bastante tóxico/irritante y eso generó muchas dificultades a los equipos de rodaje a la hora de manipularlo o limpiar las escenas.

#Godzilla es el monstruo que se alimenta de energía nuclear y llega a las costas japonesas para alimentarse de sus centrales nucleares. Si no existiera la energía nuclear, G tampoco existiría. ¿Qué le ha despertado de su prolongado letargo? Los ensayos nucleares en el Pacífico.

Aprovechando que en blanco y negro se notan menos los detalles, utilizaron otros elementos en las maquetas como cochechitos de juguete y similares para escenificar las escenas de terror. Mi favorito es este momento en el que se puede apreciar como el cochecito se cae de la mesa:

Ese huevo es reclamado por la Shobijin sin éxito. Al parecer es el último huevo puesto por Mothra que está a punto de cerrar su círculo vital. El "empresaurio" se niega a devolverlo y sólo nuestros protagonistas intentan hacer lo que es debido y recuperar ese huevo pero sin éxito también.
