Today, I stood with Ranking Member Maxine Waters and House Democrats at the Supreme Court ahead of oral arguments on Trump’s attempt to fire Fed Governor Lisa Cook. Our economy depends on an independent Fed guided by data, not political pressure, to protect businesses and family budgets.

Trump is scrambling to shut down the Kennedy Center after discovering that American artists and performers won't put up with his partisan takeover and unlawful renaming. And let’s be clear: a remodeling job won't restore the Kennedy Center to what it was. A return to artistic independence will.

Trump is prioritizing his own self-interests over national security. As a member of FSC Democrats, I will always advocate for mechanisms to keep our financial system safe from fraud and corruption.
