I voted “no” on the Farm Bill because it would make life more difficult for farmers and families.    House Republicans have brought forward a bill that prioritizes large corporations over our nation’s producers.    I remain committed to standing up for Virginia’s farmers.

It was great to be at an event alongside the National Partnership for Women & Families and Paid Leave for All.    I’m proud to stand with advocates continuing the fight to make paid family and medical leave a reality for every worker in every state.

April 22 is Earth Day — a reminder that protecting our planet and lowering costs for Virginia families should go hand in hand.  Energy bills are up 13% under this administration, putting real strain on household budgets. Virginia families shouldn’t have to sacrifice one basic need for another.
