This week in the Senate, I asked the Government to expand on how new budget funding may advance gender equality in Canada, and if cuts will impact Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy.

Yesterday I spoke in the Senate about the Equality Fund.  It is a success story of Canadian leadership advancing gender equality in Canada and around the world. Here’s an excerpt from my speech.
