We hiked on the dunes for a mile or two and then walked on the beach for an hour. Eldest: Why can't we take the perfectly nice paved trail they made for us instead of trekking over sand dunes? Me: Ok, boomer 😂 Eldest: Hey, my tax dollars built those trails! We can at least get our money's worth!
