6:20 PM: A downburst is occurring over eastern sides of Tulsa spreading up toward the airport. You can see it in the velocity data (reds and greens rushing away from one another). 50-60 mph wind gusts could occur under this downburst.

5:20 PM: Severe storm moving into far northern Tulsa County remains a large hail-producer with up to golf ball size hail and 60 mph winds possible as it tracks toward Skiatook and Collinsville. Also keeping an eye on some weak rotation with this storm.

6:05 PM: A heavy thunderstorm is developing right over Tulsa. Be aware: Storms like this one are capable of quickly producing downbursts as they bubble up and then quickly fall apart. Wind gusts over 50 mph could occur.

7:00 PM: Ring Around Tulsa! You can see the outflow surging out in all directions around the Tulsa metro as this downburst-producing storm quickly falls apart.

1:25 PM Wednesday: Rain & storms moving into southeastern OK and will continue to gradually spread north through the day and into this evening and tonight. Severe weather threats remain limited, but can't rule out one or two storms producing strong winds and a *very* low-end small funnel threat.

3:45 AM Wednesday: This noisy, slow-moving storm over the Tulsa metro has dropped a ton of rain. A Flash Flood Warning continues for Jenks, south Tulsa, Glenpool, Bixby, and Broken Arrow. Please be very careful driving early this morning. Do not drive into areas where water is covering the roads!!

5:50 PM: A nasty severe storm continues from Owasso to Collinsville tracking SE forward Catoosa and Claremore. Large hail is covering the ground and visibility is near zero! Stay home and stay off the roads as this storm blows through! Damaging 60+ mph wind potential is also increasing.

7:05 PM: Our most intense severe storm of the evening continues near Wagoner moving east-southeast toward Tahlequah. Damaging 60 mph winds and large hail threats continue. Other storms surrounding the Tulsa metro are not severe with some gusty winds and cores of smaller hail.
