Perhaps I’ll write such reminders occasionally. I’m based in Kyiv. I show you life here, the culture, and the beauty of Ukraine. I want you to see what is hidden beyond the headlines of war. Since February 24, 2022, I have called every coffee I drink warcoffee.

It is one of my favorite halls of Kyiv Picture Gallery. The gallery is housed in the former mansion of Fedir Tereshchenko (1832–1894), a Ukrainian industrialist and art collector. I visited it today to see a new exhibition. Ukraine hides so many treasures.

Made in Ukraine. Pokuttia ceramics I saw today. Traditional pottery from Western Ukraine, known for its warm colors, carved ornaments, and hand-painted designs.

Meanwhile, in Kyiv, chestnuts are starting to bloom. I once mentioned that chestnuts are one of Kyiv’s symbols.

Today, I spent some time with the Dnipro River. Sat near the water, let my thoughts fly. I cannot leave any social media platform for one simple reason: each one has kind and caring people. Came to say hi.

Kyiv is wearing vyshyvanka today. My gratitude to those who defend our culture and keep it alive.
