James Talarico: The reason Democrats lost support in South Texas and among Hispanic voters is because we took them for granted. We assumed they were a part of our base and we stopped showing up. We stopped competing for their votes.

James Talarico: It doesn’t matter who wins the Republican runoff, we’re running against the billionaire megadonors who have taken over our state and our country. We are building a movement here in Texas across all these divides to take power back from those at the very top.
