Aid budget cuts are not just a line removed from a spreadsheet: for children, it means less healthcare, clean water, food, and education. International solidarity with vulnerable children cannot be put on hold.

With temperatures plunging to -18°C in Ukraine, UNICEF has helped set up emergency warming points for families. In the orange tents children can warm up, get hot food, charge gadgets and chat with a psychologist. Or just sit in the warmth.

What's happening with Palestinian children in Gaza? They are living in such horrific conditions they are being bitten by rats and contracting painful diseases. Items UNICEF needs to sustain water systems must be allowed into Gaza at the scale. Now.
