The War in Iran is about to be a quagmire. I voted yes on another War Powers Resolution. But Speaker Johnson and the majority blocked it. We need to have more debate in the United States Congress. We need to vote on more War Powers Resolutions because we need to end this war now.

This Administration’s decision to target California by withholding $1.3 billion in Medicaid reimbursements is reckless and harmful to children, seniors, and working families. I'll continue to fight to put an end to these dangerous attacks and protect the safety and well-being of our communities.

The current war with Iran marks the 8th time this Administration has attacked another country. This war of choice is costing the American people billions of dollars a day and driving costs up at home. Congress must pass a War Powers Resolution to put an end to this unauthorized war and lower costs.

I’m proud to have secured $1 million for the Guadalupe River Trail Extension Project in San Jose. This federal grant will help extend the trail so that it can connect San Jose to San Francisco and increase community access to green spaces.
