At the end of the day, people want leaders who understand what they’re actually going through. Too many working and middle-class families feel disconnected from politics because they don’t feel heard. This race is about bringing in leadership that is focused on the issues people deal with every day.

After the 2024 election, I spent a lot of time reflecting on everything I had done to help—at a certain point, I realized I wanted to do more. The more conversations I had and the more I thought about what this district needed, the more I felt called to step up and run to flip this seat.

The presidential pardon has become a relic being weaponized to buy influence, protect allies, and embolden those who believe they're above the law. That's not what democracy looks like. I believe it's time for serious reform—because no one should be able to pardon their way out of accountability.
