When people start questioning a system where members of Congress leave office and become lobbyists. It creates a disconnect between public service and trust. For people to believe in government, we should be encouraging public service—not turning Congress into a pipeline to corporate influence.

When I’m out in the district, I see how these decisions impact working families. Cutting investments in renewable energy and green infrastructure doesn’t just hurt the environment — it costs jobs, slows innovation, and weakens economic growth when we should be building a stronger economy for all.

After the 2024 election, I spent a lot of time reflecting on everything I had done to help—at a certain point, I realized I wanted to do more. The more conversations I had and the more I thought about what this district needed, the more I felt called to step up and run to flip this seat.
