The Liberals wants to sell off Canada's ports and airports — strategic assets that will end up in the hands of foreign buyers. When the UK privatized Heathrow, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and China took major stakes. Will PM Carney protect our sovereignty — or sell it to the highest bidder?

The Liberals claim they’ve made a “generational investment” in housing, but the PBO says federal housing spending will DROP 56%. They promised 500,000 homes a year—yet the PBO found there’s no plan to reach that target, and their flagship Build Canada Homes will deliver just 26,000 units by 2030.

In Davos, Mark Carney pledged to apply the same standards to allies and rivals. Canada rightly condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine as illegal. But Carney is backing the equally illegal US-Israeli war on Iran. I pressed the Liberals on this reversal, note their muddled response:

The NDP could not support the Liberal budget. It fails to meet the moment or tackle urgent challenges like housing, healthcare, affordability and the jobs crisis. And so, we’ve put our country first: voting against the budget, but helping prevent an election Canadians don’t want.

Public healthcare is both a moral and economic imperative. A healthy economy needs healthy workers. It's time to strengthen and expand our public healthcare system, not maintain the status quo. Instead of austerity and cuts, the upcoming federal budget must invest in Canadians.
