One year ago today, we launched our campaign to bring a voice for working people back to Congress. From day one, we chose to do things a different way: actually meeting with voters, not taking money from corporations, and collecting signatures to get on the ballot.

We absolutely should have zero tolerance for fraud in our public programs. But a blanket pause to Medicaid funding is not a serious attempt to go after fraud.

I had a great time speaking with folks in Blue Earth and Nicollet counties last week about making life affordable and rebuilding the American Dream. We’ve got work to do!

To fix our broken politics, we need to stop thinking it’s Red Team versus Blue Team, and start realizing it’s the elites versus the rest of us. Thanks to everyone who came to our Mankato Meet & Greet earlier this week so we could chat about how we can solve problems for southern Minnesota together.

The Iran War is driving up prices for Minnesotans, but Brad Finstad has repeatedly voted to continue it. Now, he and his party leaders are canceling votes to end the war because they know it'll pass. That's what happens when Big Defense and Big Oil buy off politicians.

I've paid $60+ twice today just to do the essential work of meeting with voters across southern Minnesota. We don't have corporations to bankroll this effort, so I'm extra grateful today for everyone who has pitched in to support this campaign.

I was happy to see the Minnesota Farm Bureau win an award recently for its great new partnership that gives medical students hands-on experience in our rural communities. It's a great program and exactly the kind of investment that we need to increase access to healthcare in southern Minnesota.

Brad Finstad campaigned on the promise to make things cheaper, but then he went to Washington and voted for tariffs, wars, and healthcare cuts that are making life more expensive here in southern Minnesota.
