I got into politics as I saw the issues with our education system from being a teacher for over a decade. One of the biggest issues in my inbox is SEND provision, and parents are crying out for change.

The Liberal Democrats believe that jury trials are the cornerstone of our justice system. Scrapping them will have little effect on the courts backlog, whilst curtailing a fundamental right. We have a plan to tackle the issues in our court system and still protect the right to trial by jury.

My residents are sick of being let down by Thames Water. The company is dead in the water. The PM should deny the £16 billon rescue deal that is about to cross his desk and establish a public benefit company. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss this further with the Minister.

The Mandelson Files released today are damning. The fact that Starmer appointed Peter Mandelson knowing that he had continued a relationship with Jeffery Epstein after his conviction in 2008 shows serious lack of judgement. This release is only the beginning of this scandal for the Government.

Today I challenged vaccination programme bosses on institutional complacency.

The problems in palliative care are long standing and inadequate. The postcode lottery of care is not acceptable and we are pleased that the Government wants to give this issue attention.

The news that the NHS may now have to pay up to £3 billion more for drugs from the US is concerning. There needs to be clarity from the Government about who exactly will pay for this. The Government shouldn't prioritise economic growth over the health of the NHS.

Yesterday, I spoke in a debate on active travel. I'm proud to be Oxford's MP, home to the country's no.1 cycling school, Cherwell, where 58% of students cycle. Segregated cycle lanes are just one part of the Lib Dem effort to get 1 million people cycling in Oxfordshire by 2031.

Over the past week I have been inundated with concerns from constituents about changes to IB funding and how this may affect Europa School. As a teacher of the IB for 11 years I know how vital this qualification is. Today I asked the minister to reconsider his decision.
