Donald Trump’s Executive Order attempting to take over our elections is unconstitutional and unserious.

Corruption runs rampant in the Trump Administration, and it's reprehensible.   Congress must step in, Donald Trump must be stopped.

As top Democrat on the Committee on House Administration, I'm holding the Trump Administration accountable for the rhetoric on deploying federal agents at polling places, an act that is a violation of federal law.   We will not let them interfere with free and fair American elections.

The Trump Administration's immigration claims are nothing but a lie. They are not going after the “worst of the worst,” and they know it. They're going after people who are simply trying to chase the American dream because it serves them politically.

As top Democrat on the Committee on House Administration, I'm working to make sure every American has the chance to make their voices heard at the ballot box.   We won't allow voters or election officials to be intimidated by the Trump Administration.

We've always had a Department of Justice that was focused on protecting the American right to vote.   That's not the case with Donald Trump's DOJ. You can see how he targets groups of voters he disagrees with.   I talked about how we're going to stop him on Talking Points Memo.

The American people give the verdict.   Not the president, not members of Congress. The American people decide.

The President, as he so often does, made commitments and promises, then failed to deliver.   Now he wants working Americans to pay $1 billion for his gilded ballroom.

SAVE America Act registration requirements will make voting far more difficult, especially for women and those in rural communities.   We need to be expanding access to the ballot so more eligible Americans participate in our elections, not fewer.

Once again, Donald Trump is off on an unhinged rant about the fairness of an election where votes didn't go his way. He cannot accept defeat.   We will not allow him to silence the voices of American voters.
