Afghan refugees shouldn’t be punished for the violent actions of one man. If we send Afghans who worked with us back to Afghanistan they will be killed by the Taliban. We should not pursue a policy of collective punishment. We are a better country than that.

We don’t need a “I stormed the capitol and all I got was $1.7 billion” slush fund for MAGA insurrectionists. Even the Trump Admin, which has no shame and will defend almost anything, thought this was too much and said they won’t pursue it for now.

We need to come together as a country to tone down the political rhetoric. President Trump is only interested in fanning the flames of division. He always puts his short-term political interests above the country’s well-being.

Trump is raising your costs with his Iran war of choice. He said he doesn't think about Americans’ financial situation while creating a $1.8 billion slush fund for Jan 6th insurrectionists. Everything about the Trump presidency is a grift at the expense of working Americans.

Trump has increased prices for every line item in your budget: -goods you buy online=more expensive because of tariffs. -Driving to work=more expensive because of the Iran War. -Healthcare=more expensive because of the ACA tax credits expiring. -Food=Iran War and cutting food assistance.

I was told by a MAGA pundit that Trump’s budget cuts to fund his war of choice is okay because these programs only help trans people. I had to point out that cutting workplace safety funding which means more people might die on the job isn’t a trans issue, lord.

President Trump’s immigration policy is a disaster. He is breaking up families and creating chaos in communities across this nation. We need a sensible immigration policy that provides a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants. This is an approach a majority of Americans support.

I was told that Ken Paxton is a “great guy” and is the new face of MAGA. Well, he is certainly not a great guy. But he is the face of the modern day MAGA movement.

Reps Swalwell and Gonzales need to resign, or be expelled, from Congress. Sexual assault allegations against both of them need to be taken seriously and hopefully Republicans and Democrats can agree on that.
