May 19, 1994: The 8th-seeded Nuggets win their 6th-straight game while facing elimination, forcing a Game 7 in the Western Conference Semifinals with a 94-91 win over the Jazz. Dikembe Mutombo had 23 PTS/12 REB/5 BLK for Denver. Karl Malone led Utah with 31 PTS/15 REB/3 BLK.

May 27, 1999: Portland’s Rasheed Wallace backs in and dunks against Utah during Game 6 of the WCSF. Wallace finished with 14 PTS/3 STL and Isaiah Rider scored a game-high 24 PTS in a 92-80 victory that won the series for the Blazers. Jeff Hornacek scored 21 PTS to lead the Jazz.

May 24, 1979: NBA on CBS' intro for Game 2 of the NBA Finals (then known as the NBA World Championship Series), in which the Seattle SuperSonics tied the series at 1-1 with a 92-82 win over the Washington Bullets:

June 2, 1989: Scottie Pippen falls to the floor after taking an elbow to the head, then is dragged off the floor by referee Joey Crawford while play continues in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Pistons defeated the Bulls, 103-94, and advanced to the NBA Finals.

Earlier in this game, ABC reminds viewers once again that the "Floor Cam" remains the worst possible vantage point for watching basketball. May 16, 2004.

May 18, 1993: Charles Barkley scores 28 PTS in the 2nd half of the Suns' 109-97 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semis. Barkley finished with 36 PTS (11-16 FG)/12 REB and Kevin Johnson had 15 PTS/12 AST for the Suns, who took a 3-2 series lead.

May 25, 1994: Hakeem Olajuwon goes for 41 PTS (14-22 FG)/13 REB/6 AST/3 BLK in Houston's 104-99 win over Utah in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. Mario Elie added 17 PTS off the bench for the Rockets, who took a 2-0 series lead. Karl Malone had 32 PTS/7 AST for the Jazz.

May 27, 2003: This play by Steve Nash in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. Nash scored 14 PTS, Michael Finley had 31 PTS/8 REB/5 STL/2 BLK, and Nick Van Exel added 21 PTS in the Dallas Mavericks' 103-91 win at San Antonio. Tim Duncan had 23 PTS/15 REB/6 AST for the Spurs.

May 16, 1993: Houston’s Hakeem Olajuwon finishes with 24 PTS/12 REB/8 BLK/5 AST/3 STL in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals as the Rockets defeat the Seattle SuperSonics, 103-92, and tie the series at 2-2.
