How is it that 80-90% of Americans agree that our public officials should not be able to legally enrich themselves based on insider stock information they have and yet the Stock Act which would prevent exactly that, never manages to be passed?

There's a proven link between people deliberately harming animals and going on to commit domestic abuse. Currently the law does not allow us to identify these people early. I brought this up in parliament and introduced a motion asking the government to address this gap in the legislation.
