Covalen workers are treated horrendously. 700 workers are set to lose their jobs (on top of 300 previous), with no redundancy from a company that made €26 million in profits last year... Covalen must pay an enhanced redundancy. Workers must also be released from their 'cooling off' period.

Why does the government keep billions in surplus if not to protect people? Why do data centres get to pay half the price that ordinary people pay for electricity? We need an emergency energy credit, and then we need price caps on energy to stop any profiteering in this cost of living crisis.

We need price caps. This is the very least we need. Nothing else will protect people from increasing prices, and profiteering. The government is already admitting that that they've given has been wiped out already. This will just continue until we have price caps. #CostOfLivingCrisis

The legitimate protest actions taken by fuel protesters (that forced the government to make limited concessions) are the reason this ‘no confidence’ vote is taking place. We must broaden out the fuel protests & bring them to another level with mass participation from working people & trade unions.
