No one should have to choose between the cost of lifesaving insulin and putting food on the table. We need to provide some help amid soaring health care costs, and by capping monthly insulin costs at $35, my INSULIN Act would do just that.

The war in Ukraine has real implications for U.S. national security. If Russia wins that war, Vladimir Putin will feel he has the green light to attack a NATO ally, and President Xi will feel emboldened to move on Taiwan.

It is a travesty that we have a President who doesn't care about the cost of a war in Iran but is not willing to help people keep their health insurance.

The public clearly opposes this war because it is driving up costs at the gas pump, the grocery store, and in housing and energy prices. That has real ramifications. People are unhappy because they thought this president was running to address affordability.

Senator Shaheen: "We are spending billions of dollars with the build up in the Middle East." "The Administration has said we can't afford to help people with keeping their health insurance because that's too expensive, but it's not too expensive to go to war."

The President hasn't laid out a clear strategy. He's not shared that with the American people. He's not shared that with Congress. He's decided to go to war without authorization from Congress and the threat of escalation continues.

The war in Iran has cost billions of dollars of taxpayer money. President Trump campaigned on lowering costs, yet we've seen a total abdication of that commitment to the American people.

As housing costs rise, we must take steps now to ensure future generations have safe, affordable places to live. I was proud to secure three provisions in landmark legislation that passed the Senate to support affordable housing in communities across New Hampshire.

Gerrymandering is a problem. It allows our representatives to ignore the other side. It fosters polarization, not compromise that delivers for Americans.

The most corrupting influence in our politics is money.
