When Obidi met UNICEF Ambassador Liam Neeson at his school in South Sudan, it inspired him to fight for the rights of girls in his class. “I made a promise to speak up, to stand up for my sisters,” he said. “If all of us boys speak up, if we all support our sisters, we can make a change.”

Meet Ghazal, the young gardener of Gaza. After her home was destroyed, she moved to an overcrowded camp where conditions are harsh. But she has persevered - and built her own garden for growing vegetables.
