Last week, I held a forum to discuss the future of HCMC, a flagship health care institution for MN. Hear from a community member sharing about the importance of HCMC providing care for Minnesotans who might not otherwise find the trusted care they need.

Ghost guns evade background checks, make it easier to traffic firearms, and make it harder for law enforcement to investigate gun crimes. The status quo is totally unacceptable, so I am teaming up with Sen. Latz and Rep. Pinto to confront this problem and keep Minnesotans safe.

Nobody is above the law, including ICE agents. The State of Minnesota must hold people accountable for violating the law and for harming Minnesotans. I support the filing of these charges, and I am working closely with @hennepinatty.bsky.social Moriarty to ensure we reach a just outcome here.

Exciting news! Our bill, the MAP Act, passed in both the House and Senate and is headed to the Governor's desk to be signed into law. This will give my office more resources to fight fraud and protect vulnerable Minnesotans.

Earlier today, I held a press conference with @governorwalz.mn.gov to update Minnesotans after the fatal killing of Alex Pretti and our efforts to rein in ICE here in Minnesota. Tomorrow, Monday, January 26, our case to end Operation Metro Surge will be heard in federal court at 9a CT.
