This AI data center boom is starting to look a lot like a bubble. Half of these projects are already being canceled because the bubble is bursting. The tech barons promised growth, but Texans are the ones left paying the price in water, land, and power.

Nothing about these AI data centers is truly “closed loop.” They use massive amounts of electricity, and electricity generation still takes water. Texans should not have to sacrifice our water and pay higher bills so Tech Barons can get even richer.

It’s not just our water and power at risk. People living miles away can still hear these AI data centers nonstop. The Tech Barons want Texans to sacrifice our peace and quality of life for their profits.

Other states are already pushing these AI data centers out because they know the cost. If the Land of 10,000 Lakes says they don’t have the water for them, Texas leaders need to wake up fast. We have the right to protect our water and our future.

Texans are already worried about water and electricity costs. So why are we rolling out the red carpet for AI data centers that could drive both even higher? If these data centers are built irresponsibly, regular people will pay the price.

The Tech Barons don't love Texas, but they love what they can take from it. They want us distracted and divided while they profit. If Texans stand together, we can stop reckless AI data centers and protect our communities.
