Outrageous and unacceptable—Donald Trump attacking India and Indian Americans with rhetoric that fuels prejudice and hate. We should be bringing people together—not tearing communities down. Enough is enough.

Tomorrow, I will vote to release the Epstein files. Survivors deserve justice, and the public deserves the truth. These records—potentially including financial documents revealing Epstein’s associates—are key to getting to the bottom of what happened and preventing future abuse.

There are reportedly $1.5 billion in suspicious wire transactions tied to Epstein’s network that Treasury still hasn’t turned over. The American people deserve to know where that money went, who was involved, and what these records could reveal about the full scope of Epstein’s trafficking network.

Violence has no place in our politics. Grateful no one was harmed at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner—this should be a wake-up call. We need to stand united against political violence.

The Treasury Department is still withholding Epstein-related Suspicious Activity Reports tied to $1.5 billion in wire transfers. These records must be released immediately.

You don’t prevent another attack on our democracy like January 6 by rewarding the people involved. President Trump’s new slush fund could use $1.8 billion in taxpayer money to benefit political allies — including people convicted of January 6 crimes. That encourages political violence, not less.

Despite what some, including at DHS, are claiming, this video isn’t from a year ago in Chicago. It was Friday in Hoffman Estates, in my district, a street I’ve walked myself. It appears to show a child being violently detained by ICE. It’s real, and I’m demanding accountability.

Loretto Hospital in Austin and Franklin Hospital in Benton warned me directly that Republican Medicaid cuts could force program closures, staffing reductions, or worse. I’m fighting to stop the “Large Lousy Law” and to keep these hospitals, and the communities they serve, alive.

I am horrified by what happened in Minneapolis. Another civilian shot in the street by Trump’s DHS. This is beyond unacceptable. I will continue to oppose ICE funding and to fight for real accountability as we see federal agents repeatedly use deadly force without consequences.

As Jewish American Heritage Month comes to a close, I’m proud to celebrate the countless contributions Jewish Americans have made to our country and our world. At a time of rising antisemitism, we must continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder against hate.
