Oregon is on track to be the fist state to transition to universal health care, but we are far from the first or only state to make this attempt. Between 2011 and 2014, Vermont made an amazing attempt, but ultimately did not succeed. In Oregon, we must consider the lessons learned!

The work of the state of Oregon's Universal Health Plan Governance Board is confusing, but it's not a secret. We want as many Oregonians as possible to be aware of their work, and their timeline, before their September 2026 deadline to deliver their draft plan back to the OR Legislature.
