The Universal Health Plan Governance Board is accepting public comment RIGHT NOW about the new universal health care plan that it is developing. The plan is due next September. HCAO thinks that universal health care will save lives and save money. What do you need in a new health care system?

TALK TO THE PEOPLE MAKING THE PLAN. Even if you are aware and highly involved with the work of the Universal Health Plan Governance Board, the process is long, involved, and confusing. Oregon is on track to be the first state to transition to a universal healthcare system, and the time is now.

The High School Student Chapter would be honored if you would consider becoming a member of Health Care for All Oregon during our Membership May. Members are the backbone of our organization, contributing a minimum of $5 a month, or $30 a year.

Jackie, our Portland Chapter Chair, gave a fantastic presentation at last week's Health Care Reform Town Hall. Oregon needs a system that works for all of us, now. HCAO is almost entirely led by a team a dedicated volunteers. Join a local Chapter in your area.
