Reopening the Strait of Hormuz is critical to the economic security of every American. But fixing a crisis President Trump created is not a strategy. The American people still don’t have clear answers from the Commander-in-Chief. We need the truth, accountability, and results. Now.

Today’s hearing confirmed what we all know to be true: Pete Hegseth has no business serving as our Secretary of Defense.

We made a decision as Americans to be a country under the rule of law—a country whose military does not blindly follow orders but instead follows the law and honors an oath to our Constitution.

Term limits are essential to good governance. We need them in Congress. We need them on the Supreme Court. That’s how we restore accountability and deliver the government you deserve.

We must deliver justice for survivors and accountability for abusers. I won’t rest until President Trump and his deputies at the Justice Department comply with our bipartisan Epstein Files Transparency Act.

President Trump says America can’t afford Medicare, Medicaid, or childcare because “we’re fighting wars.” Now he’s asking for a $1.5 trillion+ blank check for the least transparent Pentagon in American history. Seriously? That’s not fiscal responsibility — that’s an epic failure of accountability.
