Scott Bessent says Americans have paid nearly $200 more for gas since the war with Iran started. He also says it "isn't much" money. $200 isn't much for billionaires like Bessent and Trump, but for the average retiree whose Social Security check is $1400/month, it's a crisis.

According to Scott Bessent, being upset that Americans are dipping into savings to pay for necessities like gas and groceries is a "doomer view." Most retirees live on a fixed income. We MUST elect a Congress that will bring DOWN the cost of food, utilities, gas, and medicine.

Today, Trump lied (again) about Social Security, repeating Elon Musk's BS about 125-y/o people collecting benefits. Reality: Trump and DOGE decimated the SSA, and his tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy are robbing Social Security of billions in revenue.

Dr. Oz says that Trump "loves and cherishes Medicaid and Medicare" and "saved Medicad." That's weird: His tax cuts have led to decreased Medicaid funding, which means that many seniors now have to pay higher Medicare premiums, which is something many can't afford.

Candidate Trump, one year ago: "I’m not going to touch Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid." President Trump, April 2026: "It's not possible for us to take care of daycare, Medicaid, Medicare, all these individual things."

🚨🚨 A former DOGE employee may have stolen millions of Americans' private, personal Social Security data, copying it onto a thumb drive. That's a crime. We're demanding transparency, prompt investigations from Congress and the SSA IG, and accountability for anyone who violated the law.
