@whitehouse.senate.gov said it plainly: Callias exposes this Supreme Court for what it has become — a partisan institution. They’ve helped Republicans rig maps, helped fund the fossil fuel corporations, and now they want to make voters feel powerless. Bad news for them: angry voters show up.

The Supreme Court just ruled in Louisiana v. Callais. They didn’t strike down a district. They erased Black voting power. This is far from neutrality. The Court didn’t stop discrimination. It chose to protect it.

Staying silent right now isn’t neutral. When the Roberts Court strips voting power, silence helps them get away with it. We deserve a system that works for all of us. Not just those at the top. We’re paying attention. And we’re not backing down.
