We cannot allow the Trump Administration to continue sidelining survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s trafficking network. Last week, survivors courageously testified before Oversight Committee Democrats in West Palm Beach. After decades without justice, survivors must have it.

I am horrified by what happened in Minneapolis. Another civilian shot in the street by Trump’s DHS. This is beyond unacceptable. I will continue to oppose ICE funding and to fight for real accountability as we see federal agents repeatedly use deadly force without consequences.

If Donald Trump pardons Ghislaine Maxwell—who helped Jeffrey Epstein traffic girls—it sends a clear message: One set of rules for the powerful, especially those tied to Trump. Another for everyone else.

Earlier this week, I joined a bipartisan majority in passing a War Powers Resolution to end President Trump’s illegal war in Iran. Congress cannot sit on the sidelines while America is dragged deeper into another costly war with no end in sight. The legislation now heads to the Senate.

Violence has no place in our politics. Grateful no one was harmed at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner—this should be a wake-up call. We need to stand united against political violence.

Ghislaine Maxwell must never receive a pardon or clemency. Today, at a hearing with Epstein survivors, I made clear that Maxwell has shown no remorse and taken no accountability for her role in Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse network.
