We know the ~50% rise in youth sports costs over the last 5 years didn’t come out of nowhere: private equity rolled up sports to squeeze kids and families for every dollar they could. The Let Kids Play Act is simple: it goes right after the vulture investors and their practices pricing families out.

$200 billion could pay for a lot of stuff for Americans: healthcare, childcare, school lunches for kids, high speed rail… but the Trump administration wants Congress to send them billions instead to pay for this reckless Iran War. I’m a hell no.

Veterans—especially of the Post-9/11 generation—see the similarities between the Iraq War and Trump’s reckless Iran War. Then and now: these are expensive, deadly wars that we didn’t have to fight.

If you've got three commas in your net worth, I know you can afford to pay more taxes. And in no sane world should people earning a paycheck face a higher tax rate than people living off investment returns.

The American people know this Administration has no clue what they're doing. Trump's team has cut their health care but raised their gas prices—all while spending billions on another Middle East regime change war. Crazy stuff.

The idea that Americans would be risking their lives so that Middle Eastern despots can sell their oil to China—that’s not gonna sit too well with the American people. And yet, that’s exactly what this Administration is floating to deal with the fallout of their reckless, deadly war.

Donald Trump says America can’t invest in things like childcare because of his Iran War. He’s got billions for war, but nothing for Americans—I say, let’s invest right here at home to make life better.

“Stay to play” schemes should be illegal—they ripoff families with kids on youth sports travel teams, forcing them to overpay for hotels. My bill will ban it.

Congress should put a stop to this war and bring our troops home.
