We asked Senator Josh Hawley how he’d determine which American born constituents would keep their citizenship if SCOTUS were to overturn birthright citizenship next week. Here’s what he said:

Though he couldn’t make it, @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social sent a statement (read out by the event’s moderator, Ivy) outlining his support of repair, how he would use the role of mayor to move that vision forward, and his commitment to our freedom beacon pledge.

Zellnor Myrie spoke about how important it is for Black New Yorkers to get reparations and how he’d fight for it as mayor.

Last week we organized students to walk out from schools all across NYC in solidarity with Minneapolis and to free our city and country from the modern day slave patrol. Tomorrow, we hope to see even more students and workers joining the walk out to kick white supremacy to the curb.

Germany doesn’t celebrate n*zis and our country should not be celebrating the confederate losers who fought for racial hierarchy so the wealthy, white few could hoard wealth and power.

We asked Senator Kevin Cramer about the potential end of birthright citizenship and returning to a time when Black and brown people were second class citizens. He kept saying that it had nothing to do with race despite it being part of the 14th amendment granting Black people citizenship.
