All I have to add to the discourse is that if you refused to vote for Kamala or Hillary for whatever bullshit reasons you had then and now, but you're standing ten toes down for a misogynistic neo-Nazi fuckboy like Graham Platner? You cannot be trusted, and I don't want to hear anything from you.
People on social media: "I'm so fucking sick of AMC Theatres and their horrible app making it difficult for us to buy tickets to movies like #TheOdyssey. They need to fix all their servers by the time DUNE 3 and AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY start selling tickets, or I'm fucking done with them." AMC Theatres:
I don't know what it is that makes some people want to keep voting for mediocre, unqualified white men with a history in reality television and not a single drop of Act-Right anywhere to be found within them (oh, who am I kidding? I know exactly why, as it starts with "R" and ends with "acism")...
One of the greatest television shows ever made, and it still earned that title despite having its final season cut short. If you need a reminder that some politicians don't give a fuck that all money ain't good money, look no further than Clay Davis (played by the late, great Isiah Whitlock Jr.)
1-10) My Jamaican mom and grandma would beat my ass if they EVER caught me doing drugs or getting drunk as a kid. 11) I grew up on the Very Special Episodes and PSAs of the 1980s, which convinced me to never do drugs or get drunk. So this is me if anyone tells me, "We all did ___ as kids/teens:"
A funny, haunting, unflinching look at Black women seeking revenge by any means necessary, and how those same Black women always suffer the consequences when Black men embrace patriarchy and toxic masculinity as the hills they're willing to die on, even when they blow up in their own faces. #IsGodIs
I don't know or care if this is actually true or not. But the thought of being limited to only 50 tweets a day if you don't pay for Twitter, and no longer being able to live-tweet TV shows, sporting events, awards shows, or anything else that your timeline is watching and talking about is just...
I get that ONE LAST KILL is kinda a soft reboot for those who forgot/didn't watch THE PUNISHER on Netflix, but it's still somewhat repetitive to see Frank yet again kill more people responsible for his family's deaths (which he did in Season 1) and again decide whether to embrace being The Punisher.
THE PUNISHER: ONE LAST KILL has its moments, and it's always great to see Jon Bernthal unleash hell as Frank Castle, but the special itself was too short, a little too over-the-top at times, and in some cases like hiring the legend Judith Light to play mob boss Ma Gnucci, not over-the-top enough.
I've said more than enough in this thread about #DaredevilBornAgain, so I'll end it with... Bring on Season 3, bring on the rest of the Defenders (including Danny Rand as Iron Fist, who is really good when the writing and scheduling for fight choreography is good), and bring back Foggy and Elektra.
- #DaredevilBornAgain needs 10-12 episodes a season, not just 8 or 9. If only so the storylines have more room to breathe, and so characters like Cherry, BB, and especially Kirsten McDuffie (who's supposed to be Matt's friend and law partner) get more screen time, and we get some more worldbuilding.
I know Bluesky isn't perfect, and I damn sure know that too many people in charge of this app are in dire need of having some sense knocked into them by Homey the Clown. (If you don't recognize that reference, ask your parents.) But if you ask me to choose between the Nazi bar and the echo chamber?
