Prior to Trump’s war with Iran, his Administration removed 1/3rd of America’s cybersecurity workforce. Iran’s cyber attacks, like the one in my home state, prove the importance of maintaining a strong cybersecurity workforce for our national security.

Secretary Hegseth needs to stop roadblocking Congress on these boat strikes in the Caribbean. Senators from both parties are demanding transparency. The American people deserve to know exactly what happened and why.

We have no time to waste. The Trump Admin's funding freezes, along with aging dams and record snowmelt in our state, are converging into a real public safety challenge. The Trump Admin must release the federal funding already signed into law to address what we are seeing in Northern Michigan.

American servicemembers and communities deserve access to safe drinking water, free of toxic PFAS chemicals. I secured language in the national defense bill to help hold Trump's Defense Department accountable for PFAS contamination at military installations all across the country.

Trump’s Big Ugly Bill is making made health care way more expensive. And his “concepts” of a plan to fix it aren’t good enough.

Republicans’ inaction is allowing health care costs to continue to go up for millions of Americans.  And with President Trump’s Big Ugly Bill making it even harder for folks to access health care, we need a plan to bring those costs down. I stand ready to find a bipartisan path forward.

Health care is a fundamental right. I stand ready to come to the table with my Republican colleagues to ensure Americans have access to quality, affordable health care coverage this year.

Congress decides whether we go to war, not the president. Trump needs to justify these military operations to the American people, especially now that six American soldiers lost their lives. That’s why I’m voting YES on @kaine.senate.gov’s War Power Resolution.
