Day 60 Post #TotalKneeReplacement Surgery Morning PT Exercises. Woke up (from a bad night’s sleep) with a migraine and extra knee pain. Today’s focus? Just Breathe.

Day 62 Post #TotalKneeReplacement Surgery Morning Self Care. Woke up in my feelings about all of these recent and upcoming races that I usually run in and realizing I am FAR from running just one mile, much less the full and ultra marathons I’m used to (if I’m even able to do this distances again).

Caught a stray lacrosse ball to the spot where my quad meets the new surgical knee while coaching track practice today. It was a struggle to get back to my car. I’m home now. Icing it now.

Day 49 Post #TotalKneeReplacement Surgery Physical Therapy Session. Continuing to work hard. Remember everyone goes at their own pace.

Day 81 Post #TotalKneeReplacement Surgery at the Driving Range for my First Time, Ever! I learned that I need to wrap my surgical knee because of all of the pivoting. This was FUN. This took my mind off of EVERYTHING!

Day 52 Post #TotalKneeReplacement Surgery Morning PT Exercises. Injury Depression is a real thing…combined with always feeling exhausted because my body is always trying to heal from a major surgery; has my wiped out most days.
