Today I pressed the Liberal Health Minister on their promise to protect Pharmacare agreements. Their response? After committing to make deals with provinces, they’ve signed none—and now they’re planning to let pharmacare die. Canadians deserve a gov’t that keeps their word and protects healthcare.

Today I called for an emergency debate on Stellantis' plan to send 3000 Canadian jobs to the US. This betrayal—after billions in public support—will devastate families and communities. Our economy is under attack from the Trump administration. We must act immediately to protect Canadian workers.

Canada's latest job numbers are out and it's more bad news. Unemployment remains at a 10-year high and young Canadians are now facing the worst job market since 2010. The Liberal government must act immediately to address this growing jobs crisis—especially for young Canadians.

Last year Parliament passed legislation to cover diabetes and contraceptive medications through our public healthcare system. Budget 2025 promised to protect pharmacare—but didn't allocate any money to it. The Liberals must keep their word and fund pharmacare for all Canadians.

Canadians are facing a severe affordability crisis. Families are struggling to cover basic expenses, relying on high-interest credit just to get by, while food bank use has surged. In a country as wealthy as ours, no one should be forced into debt just to put food on the table.

The Liberals claim they’ve made a “generational investment” in housing, but the PBO says federal housing spending will DROP 56%. They promised 500,000 homes a year—yet the PBO found there’s no plan to reach that target, and their flagship Build Canada Homes will deliver just 26,000 units by 2030.

The NDP could not support the Liberal budget. It fails to meet the moment or tackle urgent challenges like housing, healthcare, affordability and the jobs crisis. And so, we’ve put our country first: voting against the budget, but helping prevent an election Canadians don’t want.

The Liberals will spend 5% of Canada's GDP on defence. That's a greater share than the US spends to maintain over 800 military bases and engage in foreign wars. The PBO estimates this target will cost Canadian taxpayers $159 billion a year. How do the Liberals plan to pay for it?

Today I introduced legislation to ban floor crossing without voter consent. When MPs switch parties after an election, they override the will of the people and erode trust. My bill restores accountability: if you want to change parties, face your constituents and let them decide.

Canadians are struggling with the sky-high cost of daily essentials—and the situation is getting worse. The latest inflation data shows grocery prices up 4%, rent up 4.8% nationally and 9.6% in Quebec. The upcoming federal budget must deliver real solutions to Canada's cost-of-living crisis.
