Today I offered an amendment in the Appropriations Committee to stop the Trump Administration from canceling federal grants based on how a state voted in the 2024 election.

Trump promised his ballroom wouldn’t cost taxpayers a dime. That was a big fat LIE. If Washington Republicans get their way, you’re on the hook for $1 BILLION for it. That’s $1 BILLION for a ballroom no one wants, yet there is no money for healthcare.

You don’t preemptively promise pardons to your entire staff unless you’re asking them to do things that are wrong or illegal. According to the Wall Street Journal, that is exactly what Donald Trump is doing.

This should be a bigger story. Donald Trump launched military strikes on Iran, setting off a chain reaction that left Gulf countries scrambling for drone defense. Now, his sons are stepping in to sell those same countries the very drones the conflict made necessary.
