Here’s what you can expect when you open a twin pack of RiVive 3 mg naloxone nasal spray. You’ll notice it’s very similar to other naloxone nasal sprays, making it easy and familiar to use in an emergency overdose situation. Share this with someone who hasn’t heard of RiVive yet!🙌

When naloxone blocks the opioid from reaching the receptors in the brain, breathing is restored, the overdose is reversed, and a life is saved. But this is often a really difficult experience for the person who overdosed, especially when too high a dose of naloxone is used. (cont. in comments)

The misconception that high doses of naloxone are necessary to reverse a fentanyl overdose can lead to unnecessarily painful precipitated withdrawal symptoms and long-term naloxone avoidance for people who have experienced an overdose (cont in comments).
