Gentle reminder that your core includes your pelvic floor and diaphragm and if you're not breathing you're creating a dysfunctional movement pattern. It doesn't meant you're *doomed* or anything... buuuuut you're leaving some possible strength, mobility and ease on the table.

I know that there are a lot of people out there who teach pole (and other forms of dance) with the idea that there is a single correct way to do things and that the goal of teaching is to make students "more correct".
